I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Preferred rewards benefits, 401k matching, commission and salary well paid (compared to market) if one works hard. Promotion from within, company invest in your own growth.

    Advice to Management

As regulation increases and more procedures are implemented to follow such while goals and expectations continue to increase commission becomes more difficult to option, salary should be compensated.

I have been working at Bank of America part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Insurance, 401k, hours, Sundays off

    Cons

Short staffed, too much pressure on associates in the branches, get yelled at all day every day by customers. Not recognized.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people, better customer service, focus on all parts of the bank not just one. Stop leaving the tellers to fend for themselves.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time

    Pros

The company has some good benefits, such as good health insurance, generous vacation time (depending on position), sick time, maternity/paternity leave and growth potential.

    Cons

The department I work in is extremely disorganized and employees basically do what they want. The bad/mediocre employees enjoy this as there is no accountability for their bad behaviors. In the end, the good/professional employees end up with the brunt of the workload as management does not take action to correct the unprofessional behavior of most employees.
No matter how good your performance is, it will not help to advance your career. Who you know is all it matters in this Department and the most productive employees have been in the same position for years.

    Advice to Management

Take action to weed out the unprofessional/incompetent employees. Recognize (with significant pay raise) those who really work hard to fulfill their job functions.

I have been working at Bank of America (More than a year)

    Pros

Schedule and benefits are the best part of the job since it gives you so much flexibility this makes it easy when one needs to go in vacation as well as the daily schedule.

    Cons

Can be stressful due to the goals but the compensation for making the goals pay off although the stress can be quite impactful.
