I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Benefits are great. Career mobility can be good if you're willing to move. The people are pretty top notch if you're just in it for the experience.

    Cons

They work you more than they will ever tell you. I have seen multiple associates and managers go on medical leave because of the stress that is put on them. They expect it all and do not want to give you the resources to accomplish this. I believe this is a regional/market issue rather than a senior management issue though. Moving from Bank of America to Merrill Lynch or US Trust is very difficult. Rarely do you even get any feedback on applications and the only "advice" the recruiters give is "speak with your direct manager to help you better align yourself". Bogus answer to pass it on to someone else instead of helping their employees improve and get better. Base pay has been announced to increase, but for new employees. Current employees do not see that benefit. Incentive bonuses continuously change and it has become almost impossible for some markets to even come remotely close to hit them. Without the support needed, hitting those goals isn't feasible and then you are put on performance management for not hitting those goals.

    Pros

-benefits -work life balance -good platform

    Cons

Management. There is a disconnect from the realities in a growth market. The market leader offers no support and the company does no advertising. Upper management need to look in the mirror to see why so many people are leaving what could be a really great opportunity.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Insurance, treatment, pay, training, happy employees, happy clients. Innovative technology for customers. Has back office team to help and provide support with any uncertainties so that client-facing associates look professional while helping clients. Goals are more realistic because it is based off of clientele traffick of the center so that less busy centers are lot given the same goal production as a center that has larger volume of clientele.

    Cons

Would be nice to have more computers to do work with. Everyone has work to do, but not everyone has access to a computer to do the work.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great place to work for, great benefits and flexibility for the teams.

    Cons

Just that we do not yet have enough locations in MN and so opportunities for growth are minimal but lots of potential in the near future.
