I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits and work life balance and some great managers who Care at lower levels, however are pushed along by different focuses every other week that can be difficult to track when changed so often.

    Cons

Upper management seems disconnected to the pulse in the centers. They give up on a strategy to quickly to see if it has any real effect.

    Advice to Management

Pick a strategy and stick with it , giving it a chance before giving up and moving onto a different transformation. Change is good but to much change is not.

    Pros

Large platform with lots of internal opportunities. You can move to other functions or platforms without going through full recruiting process

    Cons

You can see political plays a lot, and supporting function is not always great. Pay is at industry average, but I have heard people getting laid off before

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Depending on which team and which manager you're under, you can have a tremendously rewarding or a going nowhere career! I was fortunate to have worked under and worked with some of the brightest minds at BAML and have really appreciated the respect, visibility and opportunity that was presently to me

    Cons

Employees at the very bottom of the chain should be looked at and their grievances should be heard out. Many managers just are too controlling sort of nature.

    Advice to Management

Must work on improving health benefits provided to employees

A great place to build your resume.

Good pay, high enough to finance your needs when you start up.

    Cons

Long working hours, and your future position in the company would depend on the boss.

    Pros

Good place to work at. Everyone was friendly to me. The team I was placed at were very supportive. I learned a lot of stuff as an intern. My hours were very flexible and it is a very fast paced environment, but eventually you will become adapted to it.

    Cons

There's really no cons as I've stated before, I had a great experience working here. It may not apply to everyone, but it really depends on management team.
