I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This is not some stodgy place running only boring mainframe apps (although it is important.) . Everything from blockchain to machine learning and a distinct push from waterfall to agile/CICD is visible. Tons of very smart people and interesting tech makes for a great experience esp for those early in their careers.

    Cons

Large organization that delivers great diversity but a challenge to navigate/align at times.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very intelligent and professional network, trying to change IB culture, look to help you pursue other opportunities, analyst groups become great friends

    Cons

Lots of red tape, very corporate structure, follow your assignments and nothing else, no outside office perks, very outdated technology and processes, ineffiency overwhelming at points

    Advice to Management

Adapt to the times... Powerpoint 2008 and working on a 6year old laptop while crunching 10 years of data do not work. Facetime does not need to be a real thing.

    Pros

Great Caliber of People, very good growth opportunities. No work life balance in the trading floor area. Expected to come early and leave late. Provided with a phone and required to answer e-mail and phone calls on weekends.

    Cons

Too many management changes. Sometimes very disorganized and too many egos to deal with. Too big of an organization. Can feel like just a number.
