I worked at Bank of America part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great benefits at various retailers

    Cons

Enormous pressure to sell even as a teller.
Never enough staff to manage the amount of customers who need help.
    Extremely high turnover rate
Always have to stay late to balance vault

    Advice to Management

Branch managers do the best they can to run the ships they have. I think that corporate needs to treat all employees better as far as available hours an pay to keep people in the company. Also, stop harassing us to sell, the customers hate it and it’d definitely a forced interaction. Let us genuinely create a connection with customers and they will naturally come to us for all their needs.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good benefits and average salary for experts, I was paid $20 hour with an MBA in Mgt. Turned down for management with 15 years of mortgage experience and no possibility of advancement, I am a man of many ethnicities, these people are Vipers looking to gather info then dump you.

    Cons

Mgt has their own agenda, move up at the expense of their employees. It’s nonsense.

    Advice to Management

Listen and learn from people who have more more didactic and leadership skills who are more experienced than you. Dumping 200+ to close a division is TRAGIC. Right your wrongs, you paid over $20 BB IN FINES. Get your company right, correctly or else you will be like Countrywide Mtg, defunct and powerless. Learn from Wachovia, I was there in the middle in late 2008, I have great friends in WF and Chase BOA has way too far to go to advance, although Brian Moyningham seems capable enough. BRIAN, listen to your inner voice, not your quarterly SHILLS. DO THE RIGHT...

    Pros

Bank of America was a great place to work. Many opportunities to move up in the company. Teammates/managers were like family.

Knowing the right people needed to get further along.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

A solid company, with lots of history. In the financial space they are among the top banks and technology offerings.

    Cons

Big company, and with that comes the management style of not offering a lot of change or opinion to make change. However most will listen, even if unable to offer anything.
