I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

You know your job and expectations. Very keen on policy and procedures and ethics.

    Cons

Took hit with mortgage industry crisis that was felt all around. But no cons specific to my job except that it was impacted by mortgage crisis.

    Advice to Management

Continue to skip level meetings, the bigger the skip the better.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Company provides great benefits: vacation time, sick time, medical insurances are decent. Most other companies aren't able to compare to the time off benefits.

    Cons

I feel like the pay is less for the work done based on what other companies pay. Most training I have found does not have instructed class but is provided by a peer.

    Advice to Management

I think pay should be more considering what surrounding competing companies are paying

I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Benefits that the company offers go beyond any other corporation. You are provided several health care options, retirement, banking, discount perks, vacation and sick time.

    Cons

Lower salaries provided than other industry competitors. Desired salary is achievable by accepting a revenue producing position.

    Advice to Management

In order to retain talent and be on the cutting edge of the industry, you need to offer a competitive salary. Any position that is non-revenue generating should not be seen as negative for the company. The company actually produces revenue from positions that develop more innovative ways to operate. At every company, employees do cause the business to incur costs. It is odd that Bank of America still classifies an associate...

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good benefits and start with 3 weeks vacation and the option to purchase 1 additional week

    Cons

They do not listen to employees, your treated like a number, everything is about the bottom line. They layoff entire call centers without much notice to outsource.

I have been working at Bank of America

    Pros

once you are an associate, after either 6 months for hourly associates or 12 months for managers, you are eligibleto post internally for any of the many bank of america job openings

    Cons

sometimes the company is just too large. in 2009,there have been many lay offs company wide, with their merger with merrill lynch.

    Advice to Management

recognize initiatives and accomplishments from managers
