I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Often fantastic leadership who are eager to help their teams succeed. Lots of opportunity to advance and branch out into different lines of business. Great benefits. Opportunities to gain exposure to senior leadership. Diverse workforce amd a ton of employee networks catering to all kinds of interests.

    Cons

Very few cons, really. Customer service can be difficult when client expectations do not align with our product or service features. Occasionally you end up working with someone who behabes selfishly or does not seem willing to work for the team's success. That's not the norm, though.

I have been working at Bank of America for more than a year

    Pros

Base salary is somewhat generous compared to similar roles at other companies. The position is set up to feed referrals to you as the FSA.

    Cons

You have to deal with bank customers, work some Saturdays, bank compliance is extremely strict, you handle all of your own admin work

    Advice to Management

Find a way for the FSA role to transition into a Merrill Lynch FA
