    Pros

Great place to work and advance, balance like/work, Work From Home

    Cons

Lay Offs are usually once every quarter, they are heartless. Only care about the EOY numbers for stakeholders.

    Advice to Management

Save your talent or another competitor will take them.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Often fantastic leadership who are eager to help their teams succeed. Lots of opportunity to advance and branch out into different lines of business. Great benefits. Opportunities to gain exposure to senior leadership. Diverse workforce amd a ton of employee networks catering to all kinds of interests.

    Cons

Very few cons, really. Customer service can be difficult when client expectations do not align with our product or service features. Occasionally you end up working with someone who behabes selfishly or does not seem willing to work for the team's success. That's not the norm, though.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great co-workers, 4 month maternity leave for men and women, FSA Benefits card

    Cons

Horrible pay, Only Band 5 or below get bonuses, Managers pick & choose who gets errors, Risk department has say about everything even if it doesn't make sense.

    Advice to Management

No advice to management because they do not manage anymore. They do not want to deal with anyone's problems. So glad I am away from that place!

I worked at Bank of America (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Pretty good benefits, lots of opportunity if you have a great network

    Cons

Constant layoffs, lack of leadership, lack of strategic direction in mid to lower level of management.
Salaries are mediocre in some departments. You're never in a position to ask for more compensation because your manager (who knows who you are and what you do) lacks the ability and controls to increase it. You will not know what your min or max salary is for your job code and conversations with your manager about it are useless. Bonuses in some departments are a joke and more insulting than their worth.

    Advice to Management

Senior leadership needs to seriously work on talent planning to develop their future leaders or there will not be a future.
Need to revamp entire project model for addressing quality issues and funding projects.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits, most are external but the health insurance options were also affordable.

    Cons

Bad management group, bad hours and the policy constantly changing with no real communication.

    Advice to Management

Develop personal skills, in order to better communicate with team members. Additionally develop leadership skills that will allow you to better guide new members.
