Stable company to work for, with decent benefits. Depending on your work history, education, or work performance, you DO have good opportunities to advance further in the company. If you have a good team to work with, work can be a breeze, if you don't, it can be hell. The Quarterly Bonuses are good IF you are able to get them. Big company, so if you need to move or transfer, chances are, their will be a BofA near you. The higher you climb on up the ladder, the perks get better.
Depending on your job role, expectations are high for your level or performance. And most of the time, the compensation for the work & time that is expected of you does not match up. Be careful when you are hired, for if you don't do your research, you WILL be low-balled salarywise if you are not deemed an asset to the company, or if your are applying for an entry level position. Many of the associates for this company are college students trying to finish their degrees. B0fA's Tuition Reimbursement program is a joke, only covering you for up to 2k, Which is nothing if you attend a university. The quarterly bonuses are a good, but the company makes it really hard for you to receive all of it with many performance goals & criteria that can be difficult to meet.
Advice to Management
Believe it or not, the associates that are lower on the totem pole as far as their overall role in the company are a huge part of the success for the company as far as consumer banking is concerned. Senior management should go to greater lengths to make sure that they offer more competitive salaries to these associates and that they also maintain good morale. These people are the workers who interact with the customers everyday who make this company money. Competitive salaries can help us retain the best associates who can help every team win. Lastly, be VERY careful hiring these managers, they have the power to drive a banking center to the gound, impact our customers, negatively, and chase away valuable associates.

Management taking granted for their level 2 management. There is zero opportunity to grow both in term of carrier opportunities as well compensation.
