I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Bank of America is a great company to work for. It has a great team atmosphere, great benefits package, 4 month maternity/paternity leave, three week vacation, 10 holiday days, two week sick time. Plenty of opportunities for developing in your career.

    Cons

Technology is taking over like everywhere else. Staffing is a challenge especially when someone is on vacation and someone calls out sick.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Paid time off, military benefits,

    Cons

Terrible management, unrealistic expectations, out of touch sales environment. In 3 years with the company and having worked in 3 banking centers I never saw one person promoted. Terrible advancement opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Treat customers as if they are actual people and not just an opportunity to sale a product or to push an idea onto. Customers feel pressed and unappreciated if every time they visit a banking center they are having a "new promotion" or credit card shoved down their throats.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great Managers, nice customers, great team to work with depending on branch

    Cons

Very political, CMM advances who he likes and any one that he doesnt he wil try to get rid of them

    Advice to Management

Keep closer eye on CMM Area Executives there is a lot of movement with who seems to be liked and not. Develop your managment and employees within the walls first before reaching out side for every position

I worked at Bank of America part-time

    Pros

The company offers a good benefits package and I enjoyed the company overall. The pay seemed higher than similar positions in other banks, but a retail position isn't going to pay great by any means.

    Cons

Its retail. Sales are everything, even if its not in the customer's best interest.
