    Pros

Good Location in the downtown of Chicago
I have met a contractor who was happy with his training.

    Cons

I quite the position. It was not for me. I thought I would receive - much better training. I was very disappointed with it. I worked for McDonald's Corporation had a very good training program.
    Too much work for everyone!!

    Advice to Management

I thought that my department did not have sufficient funds or people to train contractors!

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Depending on your department you can move into management positions if you show initiative and intelligence. Your benefits are very good compared to competitors.

    Cons

Most departments do NOT bonus and the management staff as a whole are mostly incompetent and have only been moved up based on who they know. Numerous associates are dissatisfied with the company's stock performance for the last 8 years. People are also laid off frequently. They are also very ridiculous when it comes to titles. Associates will be your peer and on your team, however they might have an AVP title or be considered an Analyst while you on the other hand are an Operations Representative.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Strong benefits , though health care has gotten expensive. Good level of opportunity in some areas.

    Cons

Not as much focus on employee satisfaction as in prior years. Flexibility has dropped significantly since telework program was black listed. Now you have to do some major jumping through hoops to even be considered, and even then are still in jeopardy of getting it taken away.

    Advice to Management

Stop being so worried about 'where' people work and let them focus on doing great work.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Job security and lots of job opportunities.

    Cons

Salary compression - getting promotions past band 5 is tough and if you aren't getting promoted, you will get small raises. Even with a promotion, it won't be much.

    Advice to Management

Have real and significant opportunities for advancements and rewards for outstanding performance.
