I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Fair salaries, exceptional up-to-date processing tools, ITIL community, Wide varieties of opportunities, not only within batch/system operation on a large IBM Sysplex, as well as networking options.
Start with a 3 week vacation/2 week sick leave. Purchased time off dependent on manager or director discretion. Health, Dental, Vision coverage normal.
Work with satellite sites in Chester or Singapore.

    Cons

Duties have grown to include numerous other departments without any time for one on one training. On the job training is limited due to lack of coverage. New upper management therefore current management has little to none communication with the very employees that allow them to shine.

    Advice to Management

    Communicate

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

During winter months, we never had to bundle up in winter clothing while working inside the building!

    Cons

There are too many to mention.

    Advice to Management

Security personnel working late are bundled up like they are at an outdoor football stadium game during winter time.
I am quite sure the exposure of hypothermia conditions are far worse for other security personnel.
Clearly, it is the policy of Bank of America to expose security personnel to hypothermia!
I asked why there were no heaters at the front. A security officer said it was against Bank of America's policy to use heaters at the entrances.
Bank of America could and should build enclosures with a heating unit to shield the security personnel from the freezing cold air.
While your maintenance staff is at it, there is a window pane that has an horizontal crack in it.
