    Good people and many good managers

    Cons

    You are expected to do the work of 2 or 3 people. No longer retaining top talent. Sr. Mgt. talks the talk but does not walk the walk.

    Advice to Management

    Retain your top talent. Work life balance is a must. Stop taking about career advancement and help people transition to new roles The best person for the job should get the job - filling quotas is discriminatory in itself.

    Decent benefits and training to perform your job. Lots of different locations and opportunities for job navigation, if you have right connections.

    Cons

    Inconsistent management style at the local level, with some acting very unprofessionally. Very hard to navigate systems for associates to use.

    Train and select branch managers better.

    I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

    Benefits such as health, childcare, educational the company also has a good match for 401k. This is a good company for someone starting as a teller. I wouldn't recommend for higher educated individual or professional.

    Cons

    Bad management; no emotional intelligence, very selfish and greedy. Also, company is cutting staffing which upsets clients furthermore the clients take it out on employees.

    Advice to Management

    Observe trends in Market and tie back to market leadership. Try to retain talent instead of allowing upper management to drive to the door and offer a more thorough training program for new employees.

    Bank of America and Merrill Edge management are not on the same page Bank of America management still has a mentality that you should be selling one product every time you meet with a customer while the sales cycle for the brokerage industry takes time.     Strong culture of employee training and improvement. Bank of America consistently provided some of the most comprehensive training I've ever received.

    Cons

    Report driven and punitive. Every file is audited for quality and errors were made public. This lowered morale. Reporting valued over results.
