I worked at Bank of America (More than 3 years)
It was fun to meet new customers and exciting to resolve the issues that came along with the customers. Seeing them relieved and with a change of attitude sometimes was rewarding.
The requirements passed on to the employees (tellers had to make CC sales, personal bankers had to push to get new products sold to customers who didn't want or sometimes need the product) and no matter how well we performed, it was never good enough and very stressful. In addition it caused a lot more micromanaging.
Advice to Management
Relax. We understand, but understand your employees are customers as well.
