I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It all depends on who you work with. I have worked for some awesome people, I have lucked out.
    The company has good benefits

    Cons

Same old same. Its all about who you know to get advanced, rarely does hard work get noticed. Bofa is for profit so it has unrealistic quotas like the rest.

They are turning into a wells fargo in my opinion.

    Advice to Management

Keep your word and pay attention to your employees. You're driving them away.

I worked at Bank of America (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Tuition reimbursement for students-great first job for young folks

    Cons

Management sucks- they barely do any work

    Advice to Management

Don't try to motivate your tellers by saying .. "but we won't get our bonuses if you we don't hit our branch goals".. tellers don't make bonuses, we don't care about your paycheck

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great medical, dental, and vision benefits. Good vacation days due to being a bank. Great teammates.

    Cons

New employees get paid vastly more than the more established employees. Managment still has fraternity mentality. Hard to get promoted from within.

    Advice to Management

Alow for creativity and flexibility within the guidelines to complete daily tasks and work load. Trust employees and allow them to enjoy what they do.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I do not have anything to mention in this column.

    Cons

I'll just put it this way. This employer had to send me a paycheck about a year later with grievances and/or malpractices on their part that I had to experience. I regret ever taking a job and/or occupation at this employer.

    Advice to Management

I think I saw enough of your excuses that it's always the clients and/or customers fault.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some of the employees are awesome...too bad they have to put up with so much nonsense!

    Cons

The branches are constantly under staffed. Customers complain that no one ever answers the phone. The comp plan is extremely complicated and the goals are way too high; especially when they move you around four times in one year. The training is lackluster, most of it is done online with no one to mentor you! Invest more time and training for your employees and hire more staff!

    Advice to Management

Don't make employees stand in the lobby as a Walmart greeter when they could be answering the phones or calling customers to invite them in for a relationship review.
