I have been working at Bank of America full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits, has opportunity with everything else

    Cons

Management has understaffed all financial centers. This leads to daily abusive comments by customers and a lack of work life balance. I am expected to work 6 days a week, open to close, to make up for the lack of team members. Due to running skeleton crews, management cannot call out sick, it isn’t allowed, you are not allotted two weeks vacation in a row unless you hit your sales goals, and you are expected to be available...

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 19 years

    Pros

Great benefits, get to work with awesome people. Market managers are extremely helpful and are proactive in helping ensure center runs as best it can. A good place if you want a fast paced environment.

    Cons

No work life balance. The view for the company is going digital. Lots of FTE cuts, managers need to work long hours with minimal staff and there is nothing anyone can do about it, it's the direction the company wants to go, less tellers, soon there will be no tellers!

    Pros

Paternity leave is 3 months paid, good health insurance cuz you gonna need it because of stress....that's about it

    Cons

Super stressed environment, you squeeze every sweat out of you. Deadlines, goals, target you gotta meet. The moment you slow down cuz you cant do it anymore, you're out.

    Advice to Management

Management only cares about themselves, everybody's trying to keep their jobs

I worked at Bank of America (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good starting pay at $15 an hour. Steady work, pretty straight forward for the most part. Lots of advancement opportunities.

    Cons

Customers can be a real pain. Learning to deal with all kinds of people is a learning curve for sure. Not exciting work at all, easy to get bored.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you have the best possible people training new hires, having a bad beginning can sour the rest of their BofA experience.
