I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Many people get promoted from within the company. It's a good place to grow and get experience. It is possible for anyone to make their way up to management level if if the person is willing to put in the WORK and effort. Tuition reimbursement is excellent for those who are still in school in a related field.

    Cons

Low level employees are worked like horses and not paid enough. Tellers expected to meet quotas but no incentives offered!

    Advice to Management

Give tellers incentives if you expect them to meet quotas. If not, dont bother asking every week if we made goals or not.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Hours were nice. Closed earlier on Saturday and not open on Sunday.

    Cons

Technology was horrible. Pushy on sales. Coming from other banking instructions some of the rules were ridiculous. Most the time was spent explaining to customers why they magically had 5 credit cards they didn’t know about.

    Advice to Management

Being pushy on sales results in bad choices from employees to hit those numbers.
