    Pros

Big company, get all national holidays off. You also get to learn how retail banking and credit works.

    Cons

Company politics can get out of hand since BofA is a big corporation. The focus and the job can get complicated.

    Advice to Management

Stop micro-managing and playing politics and let the little guys do their jobs!

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy work, hours are standard, paid holidays, good benefits, most branch managers will have your back as an employee against hostile customers (there are a lot). They're very inclusive and progressive with regard to LGTBQ, in addition to the way they handle maternity and paternity leave. Unless you don't want to, you usually will work near where you live so commuting is never an issue. I'd only recommend it to someone if they were desperate for a job.

    Cons

Hard to move up because there aren't many positions to move up into, that's why turnover is high, plus the pay is low for the work employees do. The combination of the two leads to the non-stop turnover. They call it sales job but really it's all a customer service job. It's all about sales and nothing else matters. You'd think the whole Wells Fargo thing would restructure things but really, all that has happened, is we have to sell more. Area managers only care about sales but they don't care about you. Again, it's all about sales.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of sales goals and pay us more. It's a customer service job, not a sales job.
