I worked at Bank of America

      Pros

Keeping busy is great! Great managers to work with overall.

      Cons

No work/life balance. The recruiting team will hire who they like even if the person does not perform. Upon my resignation, it was due to the fact that they will hire white Caucasian only. There were 3 of us that were there longer and outperformed the 2 others that were hired. Very unfair.

      Advice to Management

Karma does exist. Please focus on the internal diversity hires. Recruiting Managers seems to harp on hiring external candidates but seem to neglect their own internal team of Recruiters that are all one race. Take a look at the group photo. Please consider hiring contractors that work much harder and longer hours and often times outperform your current team of full timers.

      No opinion of CEO

I worked at Bank of America for more than a year

      Pros

BofA really impressed me for several reasons.....even though they are a large company, they are able to move very quickly when they want to hire someone which can give them a competitive edge. Salaries and overall compensation is very competitive to the market. But the main thing that impressed me was that they are very open to moving people around within the organization and look outside the black and white box of resumes...

      Cons

My biggest con was meetings! Conference calls...not a big fan. :)
