I worked at Bank of America (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Great Benefits
    - Strong Company with good values
    - Upper management seems very concerned about the future direction of the company and is making efforts to go in a good direction.

    Cons

    - Size. The company is really large. This could be a good thing but sometimes it leads to slow change in processes and the end customer experience could be turned negative due to the it.

    Advice to Management

    - Improve communication between departments and make individual business units a little more independent in terms of decision making in order to reduce the negative effects the company being big.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of great skills to learn. Great benefits and pay for sales people. Banker's hours.

    Cons

Some sales markets are much too stressful on employees. Employees who were exceeding goals by 5%+ were being written up for not selling enough products that ultimately do not earn the bank much money.

    Advice to Management

Make it easier for employees to move up in the company. The company has implemented restrictions to upward mobility that make certain employees unwilling to stick it out long-term.
