I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Tools and resources provided are plentiful. Brand sells itself.

    Cons

Stale outdated management and lackluster salary.

    Advice to Management

Step up the compensation and focus on grooming the next generations rather than the existing non-preforming outdated leadership.

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    I have some great co-workers.

    Cons

Management seems intent on cost saving at the expense of everything else. More and more of the workload is shifted overseas or to unskilled people at call centers. Our department is always short-handed. The health benefits are continuously getting more costly. They don't seem like they want to pay any attention to smaller clients. Client fees are raised every year. They are plagued by multiple levels of inept management....

    Advice to Management

Your focus on shareholder profits have resulted in good clients and good employees leaving the bank. Time to reverse that trend before there are no profits.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

BAML provides a decent salary and exposure with senior management; if you're lucky enough to have a good manager, growth happens quickly.

    Cons

Difficult to find a manager that effectively has management skills, team problems are usually swept under the rug, junior analysts have slim to none recognition. Politics are more important than delivering goals.

    Advice to Management

Show concern for your junior analysts: you're already investing time, energy, and resources in them, might as well be interested in what drives them forward and that way try to retain talent in house.
