    I have been working at Bank of America part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Competitive pay, great benefits, keep you informed on policies and help you to do your job to the best of your abilities!

    Cons

    Lots of employees so moving up takes time

    Advice to Management

    I really enjoy working here, I would like there to be a little more continuity between markets, but realize management had their own ways. Overall, best job I've ever had and I can't wait to do more!

    I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    * Competitive pay and benefits
    * Industry leading client technology
    * Large footprint and competitive products
       (excluding yield rates)

    Cons

    * Destroys morale and creates risk with
       unrealistic staffing models. Pay keeps people
       around, but majority of all field employees are
       burnt out
    * Lack of talent at upper market and regional
       areas create unneeded processes and micro
       management. Reactionary
    * Very top down upper management
    * If in a Center, very difficult to move within
       company outside of that environment.
    * Poor onboarding/training
    * Although client technology is top notch, all
       systems for Center use is awful. They
       continually roll out new items to systems that
       already don’t function
    * Doesn’t seem like any processes or systems are
       created with the user in mind
    * There is minimal (at best) loyalty to staff

    Advice to Management

    You could do so much by improving staffing. Running a little “fat” would assist in operating as you want to. The client experience that is being developed would work if Centers were allowed to have the team needed to do so.
    Have to find ways to eliminate processes. Every time there is something of concern, root cause is never addressed, instead more processes to get wrong are created.

    Pros

    GOOD BENEFITS WITH MATERNITY LEAVE

    Cons

    Sales oriented, They focus strictly on referrals and it can become very stressful. Management put pressure on you and goals are unrealistic.

  4. "Opportunity to move up, but the expectations get unreasonable closer to management level. Frustrated staffing."

    I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Bonus opportunities, flexible hours, nice peers.

    Cons

    Not enough staff, turnover, unrealistic sales goals from upper management out of practice of branch banking.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to employee feedback, use positive reinforcement.

    Pros

    If you want benefits, it's a good place to work.

    Cons

    Awful training program, as in there isn't one. Also, the opportunity for advancement is non-existent. Very slow on promotions.

    Advice to Management

    Develop a better training program.
