    Pros

The best reason to work here is to learn how to be professional and learn how large corporations work. There are also opportunities available outside of the small business unit that you can break into.

    Cons

Since this is a call center based job, you will probably take 50 or more service calls a day. There are opportunities to make sales bonuses but some of the products they want you to sell are not necessary for customers.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, competitive salaries, fair hours

    Cons

Micromanagement in sales, scrips, calls, emails, reports, meetings, etc. Don't plan on working your assigned schedule, as it never works out that way. Systems slow and consistently crashing. Calls to "back office" take as long as it takes the consumer.

    Advice to Management

Put the joy back in customer experience and sales. Micromanagement is causing great turnover and unhappy employees.

    Cons

If you don't like change, this place isn't for you. They are always recreating themselves to stay at the top of the banking chain.

I worked at Bank of America full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    You receive a paycheck.
    Overtime available.

    Cons

    Unprofessionalism runs rampant.
Managers do not care about associates, you are just a number.
Bad hours of operation and not flexible.
    Unrealistic metrics/KPI's.
    Sweatshop call center environment.
    Overly stressful.
Clueless managers. Promoted based on who they know.
    No room for advancement.
Depressing building - old converted warehouse in industrial area with no natural light, gray everything, cubicles as far as the eye can see.
Background screeners are extremely rude. They will call you and demand to call your previous boss, not just your employer, but actual boss to 'Ask personal questions about you' and threaten to fail your background screening if you do not comply. You will also be accused of lying and hiding something for non compliance.
    No trust in associates.

    Advice to Management

It's truly not appealing to harass new employees by calling several times daily when being hired and demanded to tell the background screeners what we're doing in our spare time because you don't 'believe' we took a few weeks off to find new employment. Also, maybe consider not telling potential employees during their interview how they will be fired over metrics and have issues held against them that are admittedly out of their control. Your pay is also well below the industry average for what is being asked. I suggest management courses or a complete overhaul of leadership staff. There's a reason so many people constantly quit.
