I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

schedules flexible had 4 and 5 day

    Cons

Managers Ishmael Trainor and Crystal Averhoff are call avoiders. Had cell phones out and would not answer their own phones, yet associates were fired for call avoidance

    Advice to Management

Hire managers that don't act ghetto

I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I liked the training. I was new to the mortgage servicing industry and they provided an extensive class as well as a learning curve to really solidify the concepts. The overall environment was fun for the most part and they provided great benefits.

    Cons

There wasn't much growth in terms of moving up. It's such a big company you are a number. Managers come and go. It's a place of constant change which could be a good thing but seem unstable to me.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good pay. Great benefits.

    Cons

Managers. So many managers. So many managers that have lots of managers. A lot of times it feels like you're drivingg hard for something but you never get there.

    Advice to Management

Personal bankers have a lot of pressure and very little to offer clients. Training is more about compliance and BofA systems rather than positively influencing a clients' finances.

I worked at Bank of America part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Coworkers were great and very friendly. Other than that there were not many pros that I can think of. Break room was clean.

    Cons

Management did not seem to know what they were doing. The job seemed to change on a weekly basis. Tuition reimbursement was very difficult to get approved.

    Advice to Management

Try to treat employees better and improve work life balance. Do not tell employees they can post out in 6 months only to force a title change and make them wait another 6 months.

I worked at Bank of America full-time

    Pros

Benefits - tuition reimbursement. Great insurance. Daycare assistance.

    Cons

So stressful. No support. Favoritism. Low pay for work done. Management doesn't manage

    Advice to Management

People are more than numbers and scores. Employees that never come to work, don't volunteer hours in crisis, but get pay raises and promotions solely off scores is wrong

I worked at Bank of America (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I loved my co-workers and their dedication to work towards common goals. The company has a lot of very good benefits. Once you are a part of the company there are a lot of opportunities in many different areas.

    Cons

Salaries are not competitive with the other big financial companies. In recent years there is less of a focus on retaining the best employees and rewarding their hard work/loyalty.

    Cons

ur just thrown into training and then learn as you go, definitely helps to know management if you want to move up
