Compensation was better than most companies. But they work you to the bone for it, and criticize you the entire time.

    Cons

Hours of boredom, brutal office politics, no appreciation

    Advice to Management

I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Big company with well defined processes and training - Competitive pay and bonuses

    Cons

    - Difficult to differentiate yourself as there are literally thousands of peers with same title and level - Information not cascaded to rank and file employees - seemed to indicate lack of trust

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Bank of America

    Pros

Global corporation and multiple business units. Has the ability to provide associates with opportunities in any facet of financial services.

    Cons

If not assertive and persistent, could be easy to get lost in the clouds. Many employees so promotional opportunities may be hard to come by. Compensation is mediocre from what I've seen.

    Advice to Management

Devote significant time to developing and cultivating talented employees. Reward associates with degrees and advanced education. Human resources must work harder to get associates into the most appropriate areas of business.
