I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Tremendous emphasis on the employee - bi-annual surveys are anonymous (and in one major division, the surveys are annual) - they want to know what employees think and need. Commitment to diversity and inclusion. Affinity groups enable employees to connect with others who have similar interests.

    Cons

Due to a reorganization, my position was eliminated - lay-off was surprisingly abrupt - in a 2-minute phone call from my manager, my 10+ year career ended, immediately. However, severance package was generous. Company appears to be stepping back from its "remote work" program.

    Advice to Management

When reorganizations occur, show more respect for tenured employees, and make greater effort to identify other career opportunities for them within the company.

    Pros

Great benefits, great atmoshere, excellent pay, always someone willing and available to assist

    Cons

5 weeks training and still don't get it! ...I mean no one did. Felt like we were being fast tracked. It was information overload but we were unable to take anything with us to review at our leisure

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!
