I worked at Bank of America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There isn't much good to say about this employer. They do have good insurance benefits. The pay for a full-time teller wasn't that bad. I was $13.50/hr.

    Cons

I worked 6 days a week with a half day off in the middle of the week; though I was hired for 5 days with 2 off you never know it. They want you to refer products at the teller line for the desk; but the words are scripted and I was spoken to every time I swayed from the script (I've been in banking for 14 years) plus you can't any bonus from your referrals until you've been there for 5 years. I could go on but I'm not; just a very bad experience every day; never received a positive feedback from mgment but did from almost every customer and the other employees I worked with.

    Advice to Management

Everyone is replaceable. I was lucky enough to have had two different managers during my time with BOA in Woburn MA; all I can say is if you need to talk about someone make sure they are not in ear shot range. I've never seen any team just clicks including the mgment. I was a Baybank employee from 1989-1992, and BOA will never come close to that company.
