I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Excellent starting ground for a career. Superior training. World class deals. Access to C-suite client management. Excellent focus on LGBTQ issues and other diversity issues.

    Cons

Large organization, in a regulated industry, which adds a level of bureaucracy to the work experience. Like all banks, work life balance for juniors and even mid-level staff can be challenging. Offset is high comp and interesting work.

I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Cons

The relentless focus on cost reduction has a downside, which is the morale of the people who remain. Additionally, while there is a great deal of lip service about investment in employee growth, very few areas succeed in making this a priority, as teams are stretched very thin.
