I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good benefits, especially the 3months of Paternal leave, 25 free tradings per month in Merrill Edge, 401K if you want to get some loan out of it.

    Cons

Many things depend on the group you work in, right from day to day activities to bonus. HR has the least interference in any issue, managers are almost independent to make decisions about hire or fire.

    Advice to Management

Please don't ever move to any other company and ruin those places also.

    Pros

    Good benefits and competitive pay

    Cons

The managers are over stressed and take it out on the lower staff, constantly short staffed, and they are constantly increasing work amount while decreasing resources.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff! Be their advocate!

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Nice people, good benefits, reasonable hours, good pay. In some roles you can choose the level of complexity you want which is a nice option. You can be on projects solving tough problems working with latest technology or something more regimented. Management or regulators will dictate priorities so maybe not a good fit for someone who wants to run the show. But besides that I would recommend to just about everyone.

    Cons

Limited work from home options, priorities frequently change which makes it difficult to plan and the structure (size) of the enterprise makes these changes difficult to navigate. Promotional track is unclear if you don’t want a management role.

    Advice to Management

Improve work location options for people that do not want to live near a “hub”. Make an advancement track that doesn’t involve becoming a manager. Have more cross-training and job sharing options.
