I worked at Bank of America full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good benefits. Possibility for commission is available quarterly.

    Cons

The training process is very tense and long. You train in the back of a bank alone at a computer for 8 straight hours. The focus is on sales and employees are pressured daily about sales. Customer Service not as important as the customers. You are required to come in early and never allowed to leave on time and your schedule is changed without your knowledge weekly. Commission is only quarterly if you make 100% of your...

    Advice to Management

Stop making the focus on numbers and sales. Pay more attention to customers needs. Revamp the training process to a classroom setting not in the back of a bank where it's an inconvenience to current employees. Some employees where literally in a unsafe environment. In a basement, near bathrooms so uncomfortable and unprofessional.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for less than a year

      Pros

Good benefits and training. Lots of developing opportunities.

      Cons

As a relationship banker has to do both counter and platform. Income is not fair enough. Usually uses as full time teller, hard to catch up goals.

      Advice to Management

Give this flexible role more cares.

I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

Good benefits and pay for just getting out of school.

      Cons

Very micromanaged. Very repetitious and College graduates think its good money and a career but there is not opportunity for advancement unless you kiss a lot of butt and say Perfect all day long. Everyone is broke and some employees are on food stamps.

Former Employee - Assistant Vice President Bankruptcy Specialist

I worked at Bank of America full-time

          Pros

Good benefits but not great pay.

          Cons

Sometimes the procedures were not clear and the requirement that the written procedures should be read for every transaction makes the job very tedious since the written procedures are so long.

          Advice to Management

Measure team service managers on how efficiently they manage their team and how well they help subordinates.
