    I have been working at Bank of North Georgia full-time

    Pros

    Some of the people are great to work with.
    Some managers are awesome.
    Try to have more team appreciation (inexpensive gifts though)

    Cons

    Do not pay people for what they are worth

    I worked at Bank of North Georgia full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    It's a large bank as part of Synovus, but still small enough to be somewhat nimble.

    Cons

    Had some real estate trouble a few years ago and did a restructure. Bank is still rebounding from that period of time.

    Advice to Management

    Keep work fun while at the same time being productive.

    I worked at Bank of North Georgia full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Enjoyed the teamwork and customers. They consistently train staff and provide all the learning tools to sell services and products to customers.

    Cons

    Not much chance of advancement. The salary is also lower than the average pay of other banks and standard 3-4% raises regardless of how well you perform.

    Synovus is a wonderful company to work for. They truly care about their employees.

    Pros

    Training and promotion with in the company were great. When my branch closed the company had a transition company work with us to develop us.

    Cons

    Not much to say here, I really enjoyed my time at the company.

    Management should get out and meet employees
