I worked at Bank of the Philippine Islands full-time

    Pros

Great salary, benefits and packages depending on the position offered to you. Medium to hard difficulty of the job that was assigned.

    Cons

Almost repetitive work it's getting on the too boring cliche point. Not giving chances of passing probies, I almost got regularized.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes please give your probationary employees a chance to prove themselves especially those who are near the passing grade already! I'm not bitter, I'm just saying the fact and giving my opinion. Anyways, good luck to the company, I know it will remain on its peak considering it's stability status.

I have been working at Bank of the Philippine Islands as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

The management understand employees as long as they can and gives a lot of room for growth. 16months pay. CC anual fees are waived when enrolled. Big and lots of projects.

    Cons

Management is lenient. Benefits are trimmed down. Ladder became much longer. Takes too long to be promoted and sometimes new ones outdo you in position.

    Advice to Management

Hire more knowledgeable management who abides in the law/policy. Who knows how to manage people to meet project deadlines.

I worked at Bank of the Philippine Islands full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This company made mo who I am today, the opportunities they have given me and the valuable experiences help me achieve my career goals. This company is very good at treating their employees that is why most of them stay for more than 5 years until they retire eventually. Benefits are up par with the standard and the fact that this is not an Multi national company states that they are committed in keeping their loyal employees. Employees treat each other as a family which I believe is the greatest trait this company has that's why it delivers success to its customers as well.

    Cons

-Salary is fairly standard not the best though
-Career growth can be slow at some departments
    -IT has already been outsourced

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!
