I have been working at Baptist Health (Arkansas) full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I worked in two different departments. Interesting people, great opportunity to move around and advance, good pay, good benefits.

    Cons

As with most healthcare organizations, every one always seems stressed and maxed out. There is never enough staff to support the workload.

I have been working at Baptist Health (Arkansas) full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Very stable. Good benefits. Not the best pay out there but the environment is good. There are some great people who work here.

    Cons

The pay is low for the area, but it is still enough to make it competitive. Progress is very slow sometimes due to bureaucratic procedures.

    Advice to Management

Find ways to make each individual employee feel like they are more appreciated for their time and loyalty especially after long years of service.

I worked at Baptist Health (Arkansas) full-time

    Pros

Good benefits, plenty of overtime if you want it, lots of room to advance.

    Cons

Can't be squeamish, gotta be a people person for many jobs, you deal with people at their worst a lot (and at their best sometimes).

    Advice to Management

Lean on employees to work as a team and not put all the work on a few.

I worked at Baptist Health (Arkansas) full-time for more than a year

    Pros

They had very good benefits and the people and patients I worked with were wonderful. Administration needs work tho

    Cons

The " Big Wigs " really doesn't care for the " Little People ". More concerned with making more money but not keeping good, dedicated employees

I have been working at Baptist Health (Arkansas)

    Pros

Good benefits, friendly coworkers, excellent place to work if you're a nurse, large healthcare system, Good ER, plenty of work to be done.

    Cons

Poorly managed, slow to no opportunity for advancement, hire new grads over experienced professionals, no respect from superiors, don't expect anyone to go out of their way for you.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be some sort of advancement structure, with goals for employees to achieve in order to advance rather than what there is now.
