I have been working at Baptist Health Care (More than a year)

    Pros

Majority of employees are nice and friendly and care about their patients, low employee benefit cost

    Cons

Old buildings, old political silos with lots of nepotism throughout the organization making it difficult to accomplish true changes, no work-life balance for exempt employees, promise things during the interview process then don't honor it including continuing education.

    Advice to Management

Reduce bureaucracy and nepotism to foster growth and positive changes, staff to reduce turnover and improve work-life balance for exempt professionals, and value the employees you have by fostering/funding professional development.
