      Micromanaged, Disorganized organization

      Pros

Your paycheck will always clear for whichever crazy schedule they have your working. Some good employee events, and decent insurance benefits if you are seen at a baptist facility. You can do just about anything wrong in your job after the first 90 days and still have a job!

      Cons

All employees are not created equal or held to the same standards. You may earn PTO hours every pay period but do not plan on using them, because they may be approved by some doesn't actually mean payroll will pay you. If you work on-call don't count on getting paid because payroll will repeatedly mess up on on call time and fail to include it in necessary pay check. All employees in the same position will not be expected to preform the same job, some are just told to do the best they can. I was warned by the individual I was replacing of the inconsistent, micromanaging and I saw this first hand. This is definitely NOT a company that you can expect your boss to do the same job they are asking you to do. Compared to other similar facilities in the area your pay is low for the expected job. From the maintenance side this facility was built and maintained inadequately

      Pros

It has a good reputation. I worked with some great nurses on my floor

      Cons

The staffing was really bad so our floor was never staffed properly and we had to float a lot. Also the pay is low.

Not bad but not the best

      Pros

Great work environment. Education paid for up to $2000 yearly for FT employee. Benefits are above average (but not the best.)

      Cons

Very low pay in comparison to other facilities. Over worked and understaffed often. Not much room for growth if not RN. Can be cliches at times. Management can be quick to punish without getting both sides. Need more training by people who know how to train. Unprofessional in the way Director comments about people's work in front of peers and even disciplines in front of peers, which is unprofessional and demeaning.

      Pros

Lots of different patients in ICU. Nicely laid out ICU. Clean.

      Cons

Low pay. Nit picking. They cannot keep staff. Many nurses in ICU not happy. Mandatory is their favorite word. Cannot get time off. Always feel management was trying to intimidate staff. Hourly rounding in the ICU, really? Observed Nepotism with promotion of charge nurses. Never felt I was treated as a professional nurse. Coworkers always complaining about lack of assistance from certain charge nurses and ACPs.

      Negative reviews are true...

      Pros

You earn a paycheck every two weeks.

      Cons

High turnover in all departments and job groups. Terrible PTO policy - vacation, sick and holiday coverage (if your department is closed) all come from the same allotment. 6.77 hours earned per 80 hours worked every two weeks. Pay is low in comparison to other institutions. Parking is always an issue, including at the designated employee lots which are blocks away from the hospital. Attitudes from Senior leadership are borderline hostile. All are expected to provide support during emergency situations (ex: hurricane), including non-medical staff, which is not disclosed until you have been hired.
