I worked at Baptist Health (Kentucky) part-time

    Pros

The staff was helpful in getting me acquainted with my new surroundings. The facilities are very clean and well kept.

    Cons

I do not have any cons to say about Baptist Health Lexington. It was a nice place to work.

    Advice to Management

Some of the nurses treated the certified nursing assistants poorly. It would be beneficial if they saw them as a help rather than a burden to their job.

I worked at Baptist Health (Kentucky) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Clinical Staff is very nice. PRN's are amazing!

    Cons

Working for baptist health was very difficult. The individual I was a direct report to would constantly have behavioral problems at work. This manager's personality was explosive, vindictive, and cruel. As a result I and other employees were inappropriately subjected to constant humiliation in front of peers, false write ups, and daily threats of termination. Unfortunately this person drove me away from the position and I was forced to terminate my employment.

    Advice to Management

When a manager has constant turn over and every employee that works for them is written up. it is not the employee's it is the manager. I was a talented employee that wanted a future and a career with baptist. Unfortunately, that career was taken from me because of this person.

I worked at Baptist Health (Kentucky) full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Baptist Health Louisville is a FANTASTIC place to work. Everyone is always so helpful, friendly, and interested in doing a great job! Interest in education and medical advancements were truly amazing!

    Cons

There were times when upper management had thoughts on how things should be run on the floor; where their requests were a bit unrealistic. At times it felt as if they had never spent any actual 'floor time' taking care of patients.

    Advice to Management

Continue asking employees what and how they feel about things, and what can be done to benefit patient-level care.
