I have been working at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Desoto full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

PTO accrual, great co-workers, training and additional education/certification opportunities. Also good benefits package available.

    Cons

Benefits package is not as great as it was due to budget cuts. I was told that they are no longer offering loan payback program or NCLEX bonus to new employees.

I worked at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Desoto part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Major hospital system with a variety of locations. It is a Teaching Hospital. Can't really think of any other cons.

    Cons

Always understaffed; not due to a lack of employees. Management would not schedule the necessary employees or contact on-call staff.

    Advice to Management

Give more consideration to staff. Don't overwork the good staff members that are loyal. Brings down morale.
