I have been working at Baptist Memorial Medical Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pretty good experience, good management and great people to work with.

    Cons

Required to collaborate with BMHCC Corporate who is mismanaged, inefficient, and overall terrible to work with.

    Advice to Management

Corporate IT does NOT know what they are doing because they are so disjointed. They need some sort of change to management that requires them to collaborate more.

    Pros

Baptist offers good benefits to its employees though the salaries are often not in line with its competitors. It is a good solid company to work for in the Mid-South area.

    Cons

Baptist is more of a corporation and less of the ministry envisioned by those who founded the organization. The 3-Fold ministry of Christ (preaching, teaching and healing) often touted by the organization has been lost.

    Advice to Management

Upper-level management is often deaf to the real needs of their employees. Little attention is given to employee opinion. Unfortunately more attention has been paid to unnecessary expensive expansion while employees suffer with unfair wages and a slow chipping away at benefits.

    Pros

Leading Cancer Center in the Mid-south who provides a excellent work environment. Excellent Benefits and Pay. Ideal place to work for patient care.

    Cons

There really aren't any cons to working here simply because you have the best Clinicians and Medical Staff in the World. You cant beat the compassion associated with this Institution. Great place to work!!!

    Advice to Management

Continue to provide great patient care as well as Continual and Excellent Oncology and Hematology Service to the Mid-South. The Kind Consideration giving by this staff is close to none.
