    excellent place when you have the right PI

    I worked at Bar Ilan University as an intern

    Pros

    The research team that I worked with was composed of some very agreeable post docs from India. This was the best part of the research experience

    Cons

    I was put into a lab not of my choosing to do essentially manual labor. I did not particularly like the work and did not feel valued.

    Advice to Management

    Please try harder to expose interns to higher level scientific understanding of the work they are doing.

    Pros

    Work was challenging and interesting.

    Cons

    I did not travel to the events I organized.
    Manager was very difficult.

    Pros

    Very good environment - hard working professors with learning attitude.

    Cons

    On shabbat it is difficult to enter inside the campus - no campus housing for international student.

    Make more internal friendly

    Very high stipends. Young staff. Welcoming. OPen for new idead

    Cons

    Terrible university facilities (no pool or gym). Lack of proffessionality in lot of aspects

    Best academics in all fields. This is an exciting place to learn. The professors are professional and exceptional. They are very interested in helping students learn about the field.

    Cons

    You can feel lost working in a place with so many people. The professors are looking to help everyone so you have to make sure you are not forgotten about for too long.
