    Politics are big. Sometimes I feel engineers are undervalued & underappreciated.

    Cons

    I haven't worked anywhere else in this industry so I can don't have anything to compare Bard to but I've heard from others that compared to similar companies Bard is slower to promote and the pay scale is on the lower end.

    Advice to Management

    You have great people working for you, get out and talk to the individuals that are a few lines below you and listen to their perspective on how to solve problems or innovate.
