I have been working at Bardel Entertainment full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    -Some fun and interesting shows
    -Cool people to work with
    -Easy entry for recent graduates

    Cons

-High quotas due to under-staffing from under-bidding shows/clients having unrealistic expectations
    -Little to no OT pay
-Almost everyone is either already or is quickly becoming fed up/tired of all the work a little to no compensation (we occasionally get OT meals but we have to stay until 7:30/8PM to recieve them)
-Little to no communication from HR when transitioning off shows

I worked at Bardel Entertainment full-time

    Pros

    Meet cool people working there

    Cons

-No OT Pay, and OT is expected because quotas are so high
-Some of the people in management are the most petty, passive aggressive, and immature people I have ever met. They are straight up rude and try to guilt trip you when you quit.
-Even if someone is reported to HR, they won't fire them or do anything about them because they're so desperate for staff because the turnover rate is so crazy fast

    Advice to Management

    start caring about your staff

I have been working at Bardel Entertainment full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    -Meet cool people

    -Work on some cool shows

    -Decent first job opportunity

    Cons

-Depending on which show you work on you may end up working a LOT of overtime and unfortunately it is all unpaid.

-Low starting salary BUT if you work hard and stay for multiple contracts you can get some solid increases

-Shows are often under-staffed causing people to work long hours in order to meet tight deadlines

    Advice to Management

Instead of trying to juggle so many shows, make sure the ones you have are staffed properly. Often times people don't want to take time off because you're still expected to fill quota and depending on the episode it can be hard on your team. This will also help prevent all the unpaid overtime and feeling of overwork.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Bardel Entertainment full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    -Great office space
-Met some cool people and made some good friends
-The President is a great guy... has no influence in the company though

    Cons

-Over-time is not only needed, but expected. You will NOT get paid for it either
-Unorganized hierarchy makes for a lot of conflicting/contradicting tasks
-Corporate level is jumbled, which affects the artists in many indirect and direct ways
-Undefined goals that aren't fully realized until it's too late... which ends up falling on the shoulders of the lower level employees
-You will make LESS money than you would working anywhere else, no matter what position you go in at
-1 year hold on compensation and benefits as most employees come in on 6 month contracts and get cut from the company afterwards

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees more than just tools. Learn how to manage expectations. Set understandable and realistic goals. Improve communication between executives and everyone else.
