Barnes Dennig exemplifies quality work with a family dynamic.

Pros
smart people great work-life balance & flexibility in working remotely great technology always forward-thinking - innovating and bringing forward new ideas truly cares about employees, clients, and quality service
Cons
I really can't come up with any.

Pros
Great coworkers. Safe work location. Being downtown is great. If you want to work part time they will be very happy to let you. The benefits are similar to other CPA firms.
Cons
Right now management is struggling to keep top performers and isn't developing/training staff so they can replace them. A lot of hiring from outside for senior and up positions versus promoting from inside. Pay is below average with annual increases that do not keep salary competitive with that outside the firm. New hires are making more than those who have been with the company for years. Lost 3 days of vacation with new vacation policy without any compensation to adjust for it.

Pros
I love the people I work with and the work life balance. While there are going to be long days... its accounting, the PTO makes up for it. The Directors are always willing to answer questions and will push you to your best if that is what you want.
Cons
The benefits seem a little low to me but it wouldn't change my mind about working here.

Pros
The firm offers a solid management team, lower-than-market-average work hours, family environment, high competency and strong client relationships. This firm is the best experience I have had in the Cincinnati market.
Cons
I would like to see more diversity in the shareholder group.
