      experience varies

      Pros

Some managers are awesome, will fight for you and help as much as they can. Interesting topics of discussion with customers. If the store has a good team, it can be a great place to work.

      Cons

Corporate makes decisions that don't make sense, or if they do, don't communicate why those decisions are made. Some management teams are ineffective, and rely on a few members to carry the rest of the store. Almost all positions are part-time, but the workload can honestly be full-time.

      Great retail customer service position

      Pros

Wonderful managers and team members at my store. Effective at training new employees and updating current team members. Staff was always willing to work with you to try new departments. Always available for questions.

      Cons

Only part-time positions were available. Sometimes short staffed during peak times. Slightly outdated/limited database system for searching for available merchandise, occasionally difficult to make recommendations for customers.

      Not a career job

      Pros

A pretty decent discount on the sales floor as well as the Cafe. Met a lot of wonderful co-workers, managers and customers. If you are looking for a career, this is not the place for you. If you are looking to make extra cash or gain experience then go for it!

      Cons

No set schedule, you get the days you get and the hours you get unless you are full time(can’t choose your days), in school or have another job. If you are part time you are more than likely not to have the same hours every week. The company’s training is not great. You get minimal training and have to learn as you go. Which in most cases would be fine but it is a Cafe and customers expect the best. That being said it puts stress on the new staff, the training staff and customers. If customers are extremely rude(ask to speak to a manager to complain about an employee), you guessed right the customer is always right, they will get what they want for free and/or a gift card. Of course there are situations where this acceptable but not when an employee is belittled, it effects other customers experience or the customer is hustling for free merch/drinks. There will be times you will have to work by yourself, because they did not schedule enough people or people have called out(same people always calling out and they don’t get in trouble for it) and you will have a line of people.
