    Pros

    The culture is awesome! empowerment at every level, great products and awesome support. Strong leadership, Brand recognition and marketing of the same.

    Cons

    Getting wind under your sails can take a bit of time but once you get it, you get it! Expect to take 30 to 60 days minimum to learn the systems, processes and products.

    Advice to Management

    Keep building products and delivering solutions to customer challenges.

    I worked at Barracuda Networks full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    good place for first job in tech - fresh out of college or intern, do not stay longer than 2 yrs max. Fun sales kickoffs and team meetings - benefits getting better

    Cons

    this place is a meat grinder, constant turnover of good people and bad name for this in the industry - spend more $ on marketing than anything so products, r&d, and engineering suffer a great deal. Deals dont stick, constantly looking over your shoulder after a sale so partners and customers get frustrated. Way too many egos in management that care about themselves more than anything else. Trying to go after bigger deals but the products just dont work in the bigger environments. Very difficult to make $ here, well below industry standards.

    Advice to Management

    dont spread yourselves so thin over 14 products. Focus more $ on developing a smaller list of solid products and keep the great employees.

    Pros

    -First job after college, was able to grow from customer services to Sales Management in 6 months.
    -A lot of opportunities for growth
    -Really nice place to work, people are genuine and really like each other.
    -Communication between departments is good, people will help you if you need help with your projects.
    -Good and approachable product managers. They will support you all the way in your projects.
    -In my case, I got a lot exposure to international sales and channel management.
    -In my position, I have a lot of freedom to implement policies or programs for my territory to grow. Management supports me in my decisions.

    Cons

    -We are losing a lot good people everyday due to salary.
    -High turnover
    -Medical benefits could be better

    We are losing a lot good people to our competitors due to salary, management needs to review their hiring strategy and compensation.

    A company that is growing at a fast pace.

    Need a bigger building as running out of space.
    Lack of car parking spaces - this is bveing resolved by renting additional space.
