I have been working at Barton & Loguidice full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

The best thing about Barton & Loguidice is the company culture. Everyone here is friendly and approachable and they offer many social and family-friendly events outside of the office. The people I work with are passionate about what they do and are very approachable when more information is needed. Teaching/learning/growing are important attributes and the company president has an open door policy and holds firm-wide...

No downside to working here that I've found.

    Advice to Management

Keep communicating to staff; big news, small news - we like hearing about it all. Would like to see more community volunteer opportunities presented so we can continue to share our time and talents and let others see the cool people and great company we have here.

I have been working at Barton & Loguidice full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

Work life balance is key here - the answer is always "family comes first"! Open door policy for everyone, including the president. Really feel engaged and free to express my opinion. Love all of the events, for a big company, it feels like a family.

    Cons

I have none at this time.

    Advice to Management

Continue to make good, quality changes and continue to keep your employees engaged in the process.

I have been working at Barton & Loguidice full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

B&L really has a family culture. Many activities for employees and their families. If you want to get involved, you can have a great experience. If you don't get involved and would rather focus on your career, that works too. I started at a B&L Intern and have continued on with the Company. They have always treated me well. Plenty of room for advancement. The Company is growth focused which provides opportunity....

I worked at Barton & Loguidice

    Pros

Employees are nice benefits are good

    Cons

Do not provide accurate training, you cannot train someone in 3 days no matter what the job is. They should have an onboard training for at least two to four weeks for anyone coming on. Also there is no diversity I did not see 1 non white person in the whole entire company. Being catfished is not a good thing, probably should let people know exactly what the job entails and the job being something else is not a good...

    Advice to Management

Be upfront and honest about job duties, give all employees 2 to 4 weeks of onboard training.

    Pros

Close knit family culture even in a medium size firm. Opportunities for training and advancement.

I have been working at Barton & Loguidice full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

-The Company offers great benefits and feels like a (sometimes dysfunctional) family -They are willing to provide external training at no cost to you.

    Cons

    - Work/Life balance can be TERRIBLE depending on who you are working with. I've had PMs assign tasks as late as 4PM and expect them to be completed before you can leave (regardless of your other commitments/schedule) forcing you to stay late. - Other times there is not enough work for a full week and you are struggle to come up with enough billable time to meet the targets (some as high as 97%). Since your billable...

    Advice to Management

Do not allow a PM to essentially force overtime based on the excuse "That's how it works in consulting" when it comes down to poor time management on their end. Also, we really need to focus on getting projects done on or ahead of the deadline.
