I have been working at Basic Energy Services full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Elreno management are the greatest people I've worked for but the Velma yard is full of liars.

    Cons

We have person that whipped fekel matter all over the inside of a crew truck but told everybody it was mud to save this guy's job he's lost work for us one client I managed to save. Got told I was gonna get a pushing job but was shot down because I don't have a CDL mind you that the pusher that quit did not have a CDL and there is nothing in the employee hand book that says you have to have a CDL to be a pusher. So advancing for basic isn't in the books for me. So I'm thinking I may be leaving and taking a client with me he told me. me and my crew is the reason he kept basic but since I'm leaving he's following could have brought two more company's to basic but oh well once a liar always a liar steer clear of the doodoo gang in Velma

    Advice to Management

Need to take the time and investigate matters like this those guys had to clean that crap out of the truck .Velma yard won't last long with the management it has there now good luck and thx for the opportunity I had working the guys on my rig .if I was y'all I'd look into the management there maybe you all can save some of the work. P.S and might wanna let them know that 1,2,3,4, and 5th is the code for the rigs to go out I've not worked in two weeks been passed over 4 times not good business.

I have been working at Basic Energy Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Run more than one log book. Loose logs

    Cons

No pay raises, no guarantee of hours, managers always eat on company credit cards and brag about it to the employees.

    Advice to Management

Take away the credit cards from supervisors they abuse it and feed their wife and children . Bring back the 40 hour guaranteed and give employees the revenue bonus since you borrowed money to give managers bonuses again

    Pros

Free shaves and haircuts every two weeks on payday!

    Cons

They pay you nothing out of their own account. the real people who put into your check are the oilfield companies you contract to do the job for. you may turn in hours for driving and yard time , but good luck in getting a percentage.

    Advice to Management

Stop the piracy. hope y'all go where you need to go , but Real Soon!
