I have been working at Basic Home Infusion full-time

    Pros

Basic Home Infusion is an amazing company that offers endless opportunities for those who seek them. They offer full coverage on health care benefits, excellent vacation time and are very flexible with all employees. The management team is awesome, owners of the company are very generous and accommodating to their staff, the knowledge and experience that is gained while employed is immense. I am so proud to be a part...

    Cons

Not any that I can think of. The only con I can list is the fact that Basic Home Infusion is being swindled by past disgruntled employees with way too much time on their hands and stigmatized with false/bad reviews. This company just does not tolerate disrespect, or people who don't love what they do to be a part of their company. When you deal with healthcare and very sick individuals, you cannot accept anything but...

I have been working at Basic Home Infusion full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    It's a place to have a job.

    Cons

Gossip, Supervisors choose favorites, lack of common sense when it comes to making positive changes for the company. Choosing people to "fill in" vacant positions they aren't qualified for. When someone is fired or quits, that person's tasks are handed off to someone else to do with little to no instruction. Poor management to say the least. There are always interviews going on because people are always leaving this place....

I have been working at Basic Home Infusion full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

So, I get all the email alerts to all the new reviews posted. I have to say that when I first took the job there weren't a lot of negative reviews. It wasn't until shortly after I was hired that I saw alerts come up with some "unfavorable" reviews. I know a few people were let go since I started, but they totally deserved it. They made the rest of our lives a living hell. They never did any of their work (or correctly...

    Cons

Although, the company offers most people The nurses have the MOST room for growth here. I agree with the "Keepin it Real" post that the cons are the standard 2% yearly raises. I think it should be between 4-5% (in my opinion). But, with that said the starting salary is usually higher than a lot of other places (one of the reasons I accepted the position). Vacation is only 1 week for the first year-then goes to 2 for...

    Advice to Management

I don’t have any advice to offer on how to change. I am very happy here and I think most people are as well. If I had to offer some advice it would be to start offering incentives for production- that would be awesome! (ie bonus's, gifts, raises, more vaca). It would also be nice to start having holiday parties outside the office (I heard you used to make it a 'night out').

I worked at Basic Home Infusion

    Pros

I had a supervisor that trained and mentored me. Awesome co-workers. Friendly environment. Competitive salary. Upper management: extremely fair, didn't micromanage, and open to new ideas by any employee regardless of position. Super cool, down to earth CEO. Great benefits, paid 100% of employee's healthcare benefits, 401K Matching, 45 min paid lunch.

    Cons

Don't allow you to use your cell phone during working hours. Strict with dress code (no shorts). Not enough PTO. Be prepared to stay busy, you are given a lot of work! Didn't have an opportunity for my field of study so I eventually had to leave to pursue my personal career goals.

    Advice to Management

I think each department needs at least one more employee for the amount of work. Continue the rigorous interview process to weed out duds which make everyone else's job harder. You are a great company, and you deserve great employees.

I worked at Basic Home Infusion

    Pros

Convenient location . Flexible for requested time off. Paid lunch. Some co workers were pleasant to work with and genuinely cared about the business. Free coffee!

    Cons

Communication needs improvement, especially between departments. Very high turn over rate, so your job will be used as leverage should you voice any concerns or difference of opinion. It is family owned, so personal family dramas have no place in a professional office environment. Unfortunately you will be bullied and osterized enough to either quit or be fired with a generic explanation . Which of course you can...

    Advice to Management

Please stop posting fake positive reviews. What should be of the upmost importance is reflecting on what could be improved upon within the office and building upon that which in turn boosts up office morale. It takes a team to run a successful business, so treat your employees with decency and respect and it will be returned in kind as well. Display professionalism at all times, gossip and cliques have no place in such...

I worked at Basic Home Infusion

    Pros

Great company. Run by pharmacists and nurses who really know their stuff. Management is awesome. Hours are great. Very flexible with days off especially if it is for your kids. Close to home. Learned a lot about health care. Many opportunities for advancement.

    Cons

I left because I wanted more vacation days. But, now I wish I didn't because my new job is no where near as great as this was.

    Advice to Management

I would recommend that management organize some out of the office fun events for the staff so we get a chance to interact with all of our co-workers. Also, maybe more vacation time. But, that's it really. Miss you guys!!!

I worked at Basic Home Infusion full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great coworkers, paid 45 min lunch, okay health insurance, great office clinical staff

    Cons

The list could go on forever...upper management is extremely disorganized they give no input or support to their workers. No sense of direction or future positive business goals. Workers are treated to meet extremely high demands and Interns are basically only back up receptionists, small chances of learning. Very high percentage of firing before they can even hire someone to replace. When facing problems with clients...

    Advice to Management

Work together as a team and treat your workers positively. As a supervisor or manager work with your team and listen to input they might have good ideas. You'll find more success than having several coffee breaks and chit chatting about your life with another supervisor.
