I have been working at Basic Home Infusion full-time

    Pros

Basic Home Infusion is an amazing company that offers endless opportunities for those who seek them. They offer full coverage on health care benefits, excellent vacation time and are very flexible with all employees. The management team is awesome, owners of the company are very generous and accommodating to their staff, the knowledge and experience that is gained while employed is immense. I am so proud to be a part...

    Cons

Not any that I can think of. The only con I can list is the fact that Basic Home Infusion is being swindled by past disgruntled employees with way too much time on their hands and stigmatized with false/bad reviews. This company just does not tolerate disrespect, or people who don't love what they do to be a part of their company. When you deal with healthcare and very sick individuals, you cannot accept anything but...

I have been working at Basic Home Infusion full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I have been with BHI for almost 2 years now and have had nothing but positive experiences. I can honestly say I love my job. At first I thought good I got a job that's conveniently located, decent pay, and the hours are great. I quickly realized how great the job really is. My start here was seamless. During my training I connected right away with all my coworkers, including management. I instantly saw how they...

    Cons

The Pros definitley out way the cons. I wish the personal time given was a day or two more. It's very upsetting when the coffee machine breaks because it's so good. One very annoying thing is that we can only exit onto Valley Road.

    Advice to Management

Please keep doing what your doing. Just reiterate to all from time to time to keep the lines of communication open.

I worked at Basic Home Infusion

    Pros

I had a supervisor that trained and mentored me. Awesome co-workers. Friendly environment. Competitive salary. Upper management: extremely fair, didn't micromanage, and open to new ideas by any employee regardless of position. Super cool, down to earth CEO. Great benefits, paid 100% of employee's healthcare benefits, 401K Matching, 45 min paid lunch.

    Cons

Don't allow you to use your cell phone during working hours. Strict with dress code (no shorts). Not enough PTO. Be prepared to stay busy, you are given a lot of work! Didn't have an opportunity for my field of study so I eventually had to leave to pursue my personal career goals.

    Advice to Management

I think each department needs at least one more employee for the amount of work. Continue the rigorous interview process to weed out duds which make everyone else's job harder. You are a great company, and you deserve great employees.

I worked at Basic Home Infusion

    Pros

Convenient location . Flexible for requested time off. Paid lunch. Some co workers were pleasant to work with and genuinely cared about the business. Free coffee!

    Cons

Communication needs improvement, especially between departments. Very high turn over rate, so your job will be used as leverage should you voice any concerns or difference of opinion. It is family owned, so personal family dramas have no place in a professional office environment. Unfortunately you will be bullied and osterized enough to either quit or be fired with a generic explanation . Which of course you can...

    Advice to Management

Please stop posting fake positive reviews. What should be of the upmost importance is reflecting on what could be improved upon within the office and building upon that which in turn boosts up office morale. It takes a team to run a successful business, so treat your employees with decency and respect and it will be returned in kind as well. Display professionalism at all times, gossip and cliques have no place in such...

I worked at Basic Home Infusion

      Pros

Co-workers, paid lunch, easy work, pharmacy department and pharmacy department head.

      Cons

Management runs the company like high school. Management will terminate based on how much they like you. Talking among co-workers is discouraged. If you are thought to be a gossip you will loose your job. There is no organization or training. Most senior employees have only been at the company a few months. Turn over rate is high. In the year and a half I worked there 35 employees left or were terminated.

      Advice to Management

Give up I'm sure you get paid a lot of money and you don't deserve it. Worst job I have ever had.

      Pros

There are very few pros, can't think of any.

      Cons

A terrible place to work, they don't utilize their staffs talents fully, super small minded management. No job security, not a good place for nurses of color.

I worked at Basic Home Infusion for more than 5 years

      Pros

This review is from a field nurse perspective working from a home office with only email/phone communication to corporate office in New Jersey. I worked for Basic Home Infusion 6.5 years. I worked in Full Time, Part Time and PRN capacity, as well as promoted and served as a District Manager for 2 years. Pros include: Flexible work schedule. Above average work/life balance (as an RN, not DM). Autonomous work environment....

Four years ago I would have given BHI a 5 star review, it's currently at 2 stars. In an attempt to give a fair and accurate review, I gave a 3 star average. I watched BHI deteriorate over the years. Communication, Competency, Professionalism, Accountability, Respect and Efficiency are at an all time low. Suggestions to upper management for improvements are frowned upon. Policy and Procedures change frequently. You will...

      Advice to Management

Respect is a two way street. Hire an HR department to create a safe environment for staff to ask questions, get clarification when needed, voice concerns, and have common HR issues resolved. Start a risk management department to investigate and improve upon current BHI processes, as well as provide continuous education to staff on evidence based best practices. Revamp your marketing strategies, consider outsourcing...

        Pros

The employees are the only positive.

        Cons

Management is a FAMILY joke. The paranoid actions and "cleansing" is something you might see on Conspiracy Theory. The harassment, discrimination and utter disgusting behavior of management will put this company out of business. Along with the fraud. As soon as other employment is found.....GOOD BYE! I will be sure to work for a company that isn't going to defraud me of my retirement funds, has an actual chain of...

I have been working at Basic Home Infusion full-time for less than a year

        Pros

Nice break room, nice hours, simpleton work. I've been working here for a little while now and it's not what I was hoping for, definitely need to nail my upcoming interview.

        Cons

Managment, back-stabbing co-workers, no real freedom to make suggestions with out being chastised. I've noticed I cannot really trust anyone here, they always seem to run to management and blow things way outta proportion. I feel like one other girl in particular keeps tabs on us and reports everything. I'd it weren't for like one or two people here, I would consider staying. I tried to ignore the negative reviews...
