I worked at Basin Electric full-time for more than 8 years

Small electrical and datacom contractor serving local community; Benefits not bad for a company this size with overtime being paid to hourly workers and some management; Company in the process of trying to diversify outdated business model to incorporate more technology in daily operations, which is desperately needed.

Company in desperate need of 21st century business model and needs to abandon "Good Ole Boy" mentality and "Mom and Pop shop" philosophies. Upper management and business owner's need more HR training and should compensate all employees fairly based on work performed and fair market value for position. Company needs to consistently follow company policies in policy manual rather than applying them only when convenient in a given situation. Not a company I chose to work for any longer with no real, long-term career path there.
