I worked at Bath & Body Works part-time

    Pros

    Flexible hours, fun employees,

    Cons

Strict sales goals, repercussions if you are not doing your part to help meet those goals, Black Friday and holiday season is rough, and floorsets are miserable

    Advice to Management

    None.

I have been working at Bath & Body Works part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Competitive pay, many opportunities to advance/grow with the company, overall pleasant work environment, usually great coworkers, even the trash smells good, gratis (monthly free gift(s)),

    Cons

HOLIDAY SEASON (you will rue Christmas), requesting a day off is rarely honored especially if you're requesting off on a holiday (at my store at least), floorset ("new theme updates"), ridiculous marketing updates/changes at close sometimes ("mid theme updates"), a lot of manual labor, average retail worker problems.

    Advice to Management

Become more eco friendly! Stop wasting so much paper mass producing marketing just to change one word on the page, seriously. Deal with testers/damages in a less wasteful manner. Enforce recycling. Don't make holiday season harder than it already is on retail workers by making us wear those sleigh bells.

I have been working at Bath & Body Works part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very positive and energetic environment. Great employee discounts on product. Awesome sense of teamwork.

    Cons

When working part-time, be prepared to not get a lot of hours. It would be wise to find another part-time job to make ends meet.

    Advice to Management

If possible, allow part time employees to work more than 10 hours a week. My current manager gives me 8 hours per week on average.

I worked at Bath & Body Works part-time

    Pros

Lots of free stuff so you get to try out a lot of the products. My manager and coworkers were super friendly. Providing customer service was pretty easy. Most of the time you just keep track of the daily promotions and help customers find a fragrance they like.

    Cons

Floor sets are ridiculous. You are working into the wee hours of the night to literally disassemble the entire store and reassemble it. In general, you get a sense that the company isn't too considerate of its employees. I think that a little more organization at hq would save a lot of time and hassle at the stores.
