Great benefits, vacation was 120 hours and sick time was 48 hrs. Bonus given on a yearly basis. Location was small.

I have been working at Bausch & Lomb full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits for permanent employees (non-temp). Pay is pretty good if you can argue a good salary.

    Cons

This place is definitely top heavy. Managers have managers that have supervisors. The politics makes working here difficult some times. You have to watch your back and mind what you say, because anyone could be listening or watching you on a camera. Big brother is big indeed.

    Advice to Management

Fire half of management, stop promoting incompetence, and do your job. After that, I have no problem with what you guys do.

I have been working at Bausch & Lomb as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

An extensive and solid training program.
Great people to work with including management.
Great benefits package, PTO and vacation time.

    Cons

    Understaffed since the integration.
It is hard, if not impossible to have a voice that is heard. If you have better ideas to improve a task, good luck getting that through to management.

    Advice to Management

Be more open minded to the employees when they have an idea for growth within the department.
